Rates for Rooms and Suites - For Adults Only
Although most rooms are now closed for the season, you can still reserve a Garden Suite!! With most of the comforts of home, $69 includes tax. No breakfast during April or early May.
About Our Rooms
We have 29 rooms and suites, most at double occupancy only. All with color television, remote control, cable stations, in room AC/Heat units, telephone (local free calls, no long distance surcharge but you will need to use a calling card). We don't have a pool but beautiful Lake Michigan is just down the street (less than a mile). We're a Quiet property meaning that we ask all to be quiet after 9pm so that everyone can settle in for a good night's sleep.
Our rooms are European in style, which is to say, both bedroom and bathroom are smaller than today's average motel room. The rooms are very clean and appointed in a comfortable, casual style. The bathrooms are well lit, all tile, most with walk-in showers only and all are very clean.
As a budget property, we are often priced a good $25 and more below our brand competition! We don't honor discounts or passbook coupons. Traveling with your laptop? We have wireless throughout. Especially nice to sit in the garden and feel away from the world yet still be in touch!

BreakfastTo better serve our guests and to give you more options and better pricing of both rooms and food, we have lowered our room rates and made breakfast optional. We're working on new breakfast choices to purchase featuring omelets, lots of fresh fruit, homemade baked goods, Greek yogurt, cereals, crepes, homemade jams and much more that you're sure to enjoy!
Deposit: We don't require a deposit, but there is a $25 handling/processing fee for cancellations; the $25 fee can be applied to another 2013 stay.
Cancellation Policies: Weekends (Friday and Saturday), Holidays, Special Events or stays of 3 days or more have a 7 day cancellation; any other stay has a 3 day cancellation. You must cancel by 3:00pm EST. Group bookings are handled separately with varying cancellation policy. If you need to arrive earlier, please let us know and we'll try to help you out whenever possible.
We're all non-smoking which is to say "No Smoking" on the property and no pets please. Forgot your toothbrush? Personal amenities are available at the front desk. Taking the early morning carferry or have an early appt? We'll give you a wake-up call.
We don't have a pool but we're about a mile from the public beach. There are also long stretches of beach close by where you may even have the beach all to yourself.

One Queen - A small yet comfortable room for a couple departing on the ferry, spending one night, or for a single person enjoying an extended stay.
This is definately a one or two person room and we encourage you to take a larger room if you're staying for more than two nights.
This smaller One Queen offers a walk-in shower in our well lit, all tiled bathroom.
Deluxe One Queen - Two cushioned, slipper chairs and footstool create a relaxed setting in this comfortable one queen bedroom for one  or two. With reading lights at both sides of the bed, this is a much larger room than the One Queen.

These rooms were re-done over the winter and all have new flooring, freshly painted, new art work, drapery and new flat screen televisions.
Two Queen Beds - A standard room with two queen beds, ideally suited for those wanting their own space. Our rooms are meant for double occupancy but we do book 3 to a Standard Two Queen room.. If you have a third person, add $25 to the room rate. We only book more than three people to our Family rooms.
If you're traveling with family or friends, be sure to ask for one of our "Family" rooms. Family rooms are priced a bit higher than the standard rooms but do have a bigger bathroom or bedroom area.

 King Bed - Similar to the Deluxe Queen, two chairs with arms and pendant lighting create a restful setting in this king bedroom for two. King rooms have patio seating just outside the room under pergolas. They have walk-in showers, well lit, and all tiled bathroom. They are situated at the back of the property and are close to pergola seating just outside and are also close to the backyard garden and pond and pergola. These rooms were re-done over the winter and have new flooring, freshly painted and new flat screen televisions.
 Garden Suites - Two room suites for couples or for two friends have most of the comforts of home; living room, private patio adjacent to the garden, kitchenette with microwave and undercounter fridge, coffee maker stocked with fresh ground coffee, one queen bedroom make these suites just right for an evening away or for an extended stay for one or two people. We do have one suite with two queen beds and a large living room with kitchenette that will comfortably accommodate a party of four for a night or for an extended stay. This larger suite is 775 sq. ft.. The rate is based on 2 people. Add $25 for each extra person to the room rate.
Bathrooms - By national chain standards, our bathrooms are small, yet they are all nicely tiled and very clean. Most have walk-in showers only but some do have a tub/shower combination. Please let our staff know your preference when reserving.
Most rooms are double occupancy only; a limited number of rooms will accommodate up to 4 people with a $20 extra person charge per night. All rooms are non-smoking; no pets please!
